Batman Forever is another notable movie in the Batman trilogy and this sequel was released in the year 1995. This time Tim Burton was replaced by Joel Schumacher. Val Kimer plays the role of Batman in Batman Forever. The story was given a concrete shape by the new actors and directors but it is the presentation of the same old fictional character from DC Comics. So movie buffs who have seen the previous Batman flicks are likely to be well acquainted with the mission and psyche of Batman this time. There is no need of any further exposition to the story of Batman nor the director is in need to introduce the character of Batman to the world audience. Joel Schumacher got a ready international market for Batman Forever. He did not have to strive to popularize the character of Batman. But on the other hand, it certainly is a difficult task to meet the rising expectations of the audience every time a new Batman movie makes it way to the theaters.
Batman Forever however has proved itself to be very different from Batman Returns. Batman Forever is not that serious in tone rather it has been especially aimed at the young audiences. You would enjoy the movie as it would not be very confusing with a complicated plot. The critics found some major changes in the film starting from its costume designing to casting. The character of Batman was given a fresh look in Batman Forever. Joel thought of gifting something new to the fans of Batman. Otherwise, the fans would get bored with the same old actions of the superhero. The superhero has been dealt in a new light in this movie.

Such strategies did wonders at the Hollywood box office. The movie was big commercial draw though it received mixed reviews from the film critics. That however did not undermine the craze for Batman. The young generation is in love with Batman and the director has done a terrific job. The music of the movie is quite engrossing. “Hold Me, Thrill Me” and “Kiss from a Rose” were nominated for MTV Movie Awards. Batman Forever also won three Grammies for the soundtrack “Kiss from a Rose” in 1996 for the categories of male pop vocal, song of the year and the record of the year. You would love the action, the character presentation and his inner conflicts, plot intrigues, music and adventure of Batman Forever.
