The Lost World: Jurassic Park is a science fiction movie and a sequel to the popular Hollywood movie Jurassic Park. The story of the film is based on Michael Crichton's book having the same name. The success of Jurassic Park compelled Steven Spielberg to request Crichton to write a sequel to his original novel. After the publication of the book in 1995, Spielberg began his work on the second film of Jurassic Park series. The film earned a profit of $72,132,785 in the first weekend.
The Lost World: Jurassic Park was picturized in San Diego, Eureka and Kauai. Northern California was the location of most of the sequences. The film which threw light on the prehistoric age featured a number of the extinct species like Stegosaurus, Gallimimius, Triceraptors, Velociraptor, Tyrannosaurua Rex, Parasaurolophus, Compsognathus, Pachycephalosaurus and Mamenchisaurus.
Plot of The Lost World: Jurassic Park
In The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Peter Ludlow was in the charge of Ingen. Legal actions were taken against Ian Malcolm who revealed the story of a film inspite of signing a non disclosure agreement. Ludlow planned a Jurassic Park in San Diego by bringing some of the dinosaurs from Isla Nublar.
The island by that time was completely destroyed by a hurricane. Hammond appealed to Malcolm for helping him to stop Ludlow. Malcolm though hesitant at the beginning decided to help Hammond and arrives at the island where his girlfriend paleontologist Sarah Harding was also present.
The team on their arrival at the islands encountered dinosaurs. They somehow managed to capture Stegosaurus, Triceraptors, Parasaurolophus, Gallimimius and Pachycephalosaurus. Nick and Sarah decided to release some of the captured species which lead to chaos. Meanwhile Roland Tembo, the in charge of the Ingen team was searching a male Tyrannosaurua with the help of a baby T.Rex.

A series of incidents followed in which Nick released baby T.rex, the parents appeared in search of the T. rex baby and the entire Ingen team attacked by Velociraptors. In the meantime, all the communicating devices of the team was destroyed. The team returnd and the movie ended with Hammond's appeal to preserve the island.
