Jurassic Park, released in 1993, was a film based on a science fiction. Steven Spielberg, the director of the film turned to Michael Crichton's popular novel Jurassic Park for the story. The film which take us to the land of dinosaurs preceeds a series of films based on the similar story line. The Lost World Jurassic Park released in 1997, Jurassic Park III released in 2001 hit the box office but was unable to gain the popularity of the first film.
Plot of Jurassic Park
John Hammond invites paleobotanist Ellie Sattler, Paleontologist Alan Grant, chaos theorist Dr. Ian Malcolm and attorney general Donald Gennaro for an inspection of his Amusement park situated in Isla Nublar. The group of scientists meet Brachiosaurus in the park. As the story advances the group learns that Ingen, an employee created these prehistoric animals. He cloned the genetic materials of mosquitoes, which fed the blood of the dinosaurs. The scientists collected DNA samples from these animals and frogs and created female dinosaurs. In order to prevent breeding, the scientists involved in the experiments bred only female dinosaurs.
Sattler and Malcolm were exploring the park with the grandchildren when a sudden tropical storm put every thing in topsy turvy. All the employees excluding Hammond have already left. Dennis Nedry, a corporate personnel took the opportunity of the chaos and tried to steal the embryos of the dinosaurs.
At this critical juncture, Lex and Tim was attacked by a Tyrannosaurua. Grant and children had a narrow escape. Nedry was killed by the Dilophosaurua. Grant along with the children spend the night on the tree only to discover at the morning some of these prehistoric animals were breeding. Grant realized that this is due to the DNA of the frogs involved in the experiment. Certain species of frogs have capability of changing gender in specific environmemnts.
Muldoon was killed by a Raptor in his attempt to recover the power of Nedry's computer. Ellie joins Grant and finally meet Hammond and Malcolm. The computer system is finally recovered and plea for rescue is send to helicoptors.
