Child’s Play 2 is the sequel to Child's Play that belonged to the Hollywood horror/thriller movie genres. Child’s Play 2 was released in the year 1990. The director of Child’s Play 2 is John Lafia and the film was produced by David Kirschner. The film was released under the banner of Universal City Studio. The character of Chucky in the first part is still alive in the film. The screenplay of Child’s Play 2 was by Don Mancini and he had the written the story as well. In Child’s Play 2, we see that the Good Guy doll, Chucky was not dead as was assumed. The company owners had resurrected him unwittingly in order to save the image of the Good Guy dolls. The reputation of the doll had suffered to a great extent due to the fact that the doll was haunted. After Chucky was resurrected, it created the havoc with vengeance. It found out the address of Andy in order to complete the voodoo ritual of transferring the soul. In the process, Chucky commits various murders mercilessly and tricks Andy into believing that Chucky is Tommy another Good Guy doll at the Simpson house.

| When Andy discovers that Chucky is back, he is afraid of it but no one believes him. Only when a series of murders are committed that Kyle believes that the doll is indeed the murderer. They try hard to kill the doll but it relentlessly pursues them outwitting all their plans to finish off the doll. Finally, Andy and Kyle manage to kill the doll at the toy factory by making Chucky's head explode with an air hose. There are elements of surprise and fear in every part of the film and the audience is left asking for more.
