Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth book of the Harry Potter series. The movie version of J.K. Rowling's famous book incorporates some of the finest fantasy scenes in world cinema. Although the book was released for the public way back in 2005, the movie version is in the final stages of production. By the time Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is released across the world, it is expected to draw huge profits for the distributors.
Technical Aspects of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
The Warner Brothers are in charge of the distribution of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. According to their schedule, many countries like Australia and the Far East will receive the prints of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, by the end of 2008. In fact the movie in itself will release worldwide by November, 2008.
Cinematographer Bruno Delbonnel has done a brilliant job in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. His choice of angles, frames and shots are commendable. He has aesthetically blended the fictional aspect of the movie with its eerie scenes. David Yates the director of the movie has also taken some intelligent shots to blend the various aspects of the novel into a movie.
Mark Day on the other hand, has done a great job in editing the redundant scenes. As is common to all Potter movies, many of the scenes have to be edited due to time constrains.
Smooth editing skills, however, do not make the transition seem abrupt. As an editor, Mark Day has kept only those scenes which are vital to the main plot and the entire Potter series.
