Racing Stripes is one of the adventure/comedy movies of Hollywood released in 14th January, 2005. This movie was directed by Frederik Du Chau and produced by Broderick Johnson. Racing Stripes is similar in its style to the movie Babe, which was released in 1995. Just like Babe, the protagonist in Racing Stripes is also a talking animal living on a farm and achieves success at an activity that is not expected of his species. This adventure/comedy film was shot in Pietermaritzburg and Nottingham Road in South Africa. Racing Stripes was written by David Schmidt and Steven P. Wegner and cinematography was done by David Eggby.

Plot Outline of Racing Stripes
In the film Racing Stripes, the central character is Stripes who is a Zebra, who grows up believing that he is a racehorse. A traveling circus by mistake, leaves behind a baby zebra in their hurry to pack up during a thunderstorm. The baby Zebra is then rescued by Nolan Walsh, who is a retired thoroughbred racehorse trainer. He takes the foal to his farm, where his daughter Channing, takes care of the zebra and names him Stripes. The other animals in the farmyard attempt to educate him about life on the farm, but Stripes is convinced he is destined to be a racehorse, although he is not a real racehorse

| In the Racing Stripes we see how the zebra spends his time training with the help of Tucker, a Shetland pony. On the other hand, Channing also has an ambition to become a jockey but her father refuses to indulge her as he believes it to be dangerous for her. Nevertheless, Channing’s enthusiasm eventually wins her father over, who agrees to train her as well as Stripes, with the endeavor to win the illustrious Kentucky Open.
