Plot of The Rock:
Set in a quiet day at San Francisco, 81 civilians are on a tour to Alcatraz, a prison from which, in spite of several attempts, no prisoner has managed to escape. General X. Hummel with the help of some other mariners, takes some civillians, who are on a tour, hostage. He is also possesses 15 rockets with V.X. gas and he is ready to launch them at San Francisco. There is a reason behind this act. He has seen that mariners, who did not survive a millitary combat, did not receive a proper burial and their families also did not get any benefit. He threatens the FBI to give recognition to the dead mariners or else he will launch the deadly rockets which are loaded with V.X. After getting the information that one rocket has the capacity to kill 60 to 70 thousand people, FBI sends Dr. Stanley Goodspeed, a chemical weapon expert.
In the process of figuring out any possible countermeasure, FBI is compelled to take the help of John Mason, who was successful in
