Scaramanga is a hit man. He always carries a golden gun with himself and uses golden bullets and therefore he is known as 'the man wityh the golden gun'. Bond comes to know that he is the next target of Scaramanga. In response to this threat, Bond is relieved from his duties, until the danger is over. But, he refuses to refrain from his duties as according to him, he has to succeed in a secret mission.
In this mission itself, he meets Scaramanga and comes to learn that he is not the next target of Sacramanga, when a shot misses him as Sacramanga would not miss his shot. In the process, another person gets killed. The other person, who gets killed, is the person , whom Bond was looking for. Bond needs to find the device.
