The shooting of On Her Majesty's Secret Service started in Canton Bern, Switzerland, in October 1968. Many locations were used including the capital city Berne. The revolving restaurant "Piz Gloria" was also featured in the film. The other filming locations included London with the historic Pinewood Studios. The Christmas solutions shown in the film was filmed in Grindelwald, Switzerland. The film's soundtrack was composed and arranged by John Barry. The theme, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", was used in the film as an alternative theme to Monty Norman's "James Bond Theme".
