Plot of Golden Eye
Shot mostly at St Petersburg in Russia, the movie revolves around a plot. This plot revolves around the breaking of the nexus of a gang of international terrorists. Bond is working on a mission to recover the access key to 'Golden Eye.'
This Golden Eye is a secret space weapon designed in Soviet Union, which triggers a nuclear pulse in the target region and in the process, destroys all electronic equipments.
The collusion of top Soviet military officials in the plot ultimately is broken by James Bond with the help of a Soviet computer programmer Natalya Siminova, who survives a murder attempt by top Soviet officials. Gradually, a new secret resurfaces that his fellow agent, Alec Trevelyan who was believed to have been killed years ago is alive and is behind the sinister plot. Now James Bond has to fight his former friend and save London from the attempt to be destroyed with the Golden Eye satellite weapon.
