Casino Royale was produced in the year 2006 and in this movie. Daniel Craig was roped in to play the role of James Bond. This shift from the usual Bond earlier played by Pierce Brosnan was not welcomed by his regular fans. Despite the protests Daniel emerged as a very impressive bond hero and his caliber was appreciated. In this movie a young Bond, is portrayed. He is given the license to kill and then follows his pursuits with action and adventure with regular tryst with love.

Daniel Craig is James Bond, he is the British secret agent and he falls for Vesper Lynd played by Eva Green. She portrays the character of an agent financing bond in his poker deals, but she is also a part of the terrorist gang. Mads Mikkelsen portrays Le Chiffre, who is an expert in chess and brilliant in mathematics besides being a banker and financier to the terrorists worldwide. M is played by Judi dench, who is the head of MI6. Other principle characters are played by Jeffrey Wright, Giancario Giannini and Simon Abkarian.

The film begins with the murder of chief Dryden of MI6 whose corrupt practices were discovered. Bond traces a bomb maker called Mollaka to Madagascar. He seduces Solange, Dimitrio's wife who blurts out Dimitrio's whereabouts. In the midst of all action it becomes necessary to defeat Le Chiffre in the poker game. At the end Le Chiffre is arrested for his mischief and White too is captured. Bond discovers that Vesper has a boy friend, this truth leaves makes Bond feel that he has been betrayed. This film is adapted from Ian Fleming's very first story on Bond 007. If you watch this movie, you would find that the new Bond had the cold composed face with raging eyes aptly suiting the intelligent character of Bond.

The film' premiere took place many locations on the sane day, namely London's Odeon West End and Odeon Leicester Square on 14th November, 2006. Queen Elizabeth II along with the Duke of Edinburgh attended the premiere. The film surpassed Die another Day in its sales worldwide. In UK it was opened with GB 13,400,000. US earned 14,750,000 $ on the opening day itself. Casino Royale received raved reviews from critics and groups worldwide. Numerous awards also were received by the team, who are responsible to a great extent for the success of this movie.
