Richard Gere, one of the most recognized and popular Hollywood male actors of today, was born as Richard Tiffany Gere. He was born on August 31, 1949 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This American actor is the winner of the Golden Globe Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award. Hollywood actor Richard Gere became a heartthrob for his handsome appearance and romantic roles during the 1980s and since then he played the role of the leading actor in all his films.
