Among the many top female actors in Hollywood, Vanessa Williams has created a niche by her acting acumen. Born on 18th March, 1963, this American actress is also a songwriter and a singer. History was created in 1983 when Vanessa Lynn Williams she achieved the distinction of becoming the first African American to win the prestigious title of Miss America. The album's first single, “The Right Stuff” was extremely successful on the R&B Chart. “Dreamin” was also one of her major success and made it to the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list. This particular album was so successful that she won three nominations at the Grammy Award, including the nomination for the Best New Artist.
