Renee Zellweger is one of the most popular Hollywood female actors and at the same time is one of the highest paid Hollywood actress as well. Born on April 25, 1969 in Katy, Texas, a suburb of Houston. Daughter of Swiss-born mechanical and electrical engineer Emil Erich and Norwegian-born nurse Kjellfried Irene, Renee Zellweger was highly talented since her childhood. Besides the interest in acting, she also had interest in sports as well. Later on, when she crafted her career in Hollywood, she gave some wonderful performances in the various roles that she portrayed throughout her career. She won a number of awards for her performances that include Golden Globe Award thrice and Academy Award for best supporting actress.
The Early Days
Renee Zellweger was a multi-talented child. Besides her talent in acting, Renee also had some talent in sports as well. During her school days, she took part in various sports activities including soccer, basketball, baseball, and football. She attended Katy High School where she was voted as the “Best Looking” in her class. After graduating from there in 1987, Renee Zellweger moved on to University of Texas as Austin where she took English language. The Career
Renee Zellweger started her career with television series like A Taste for Killing and Murder in the Heartland in 1992. Renee bagged her first major movie role in the horror movie Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre where she acted alongside Matthew McConaughey. Later on she acted in Love and a .45 which earned her Independent Spirit Award. Renee Zellweger also acted in several Hollywood movies like Empire Records, The Whole Wide World etc. Renee Zellweger became popular with the audience through her performance in Jerry Maguire in 1996 where she acted in opposite of Tom Cruise.
