The Screen Actors Guild Awards are presented annually by the Screen Actors Guild in order to honor excellence in performance by the guild members. In Hollywood the ceremony for the Screen Actors Guild Awards has been one of the most notable award-giving events since 1995. Nominations for these awards include 4200 union members, who are chosen at random. Full membership of the union is required to be eligible as voters for the award winners.
