In 1928 the first parade featured Jeanette Loff and everybody’s darling Santa Claus. The parade was originally conceptualized by the famous Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for promoting shopping in Hollywood. It was earlier known as the Santa Claus Lane Parade.
Cinecon Classic Film Festival & Exposition -
The festive occasion of the Cinecon Classic Film Festival & Exposition is celebrated for five days on the Labor Day weekend. The most exclusive parts of this celebration of rare and exceptional classic films include special presentations by expert film celebrities, signs of authors and screening of films attended by the celebrity guests.

The Llyod E. Rigler Theatre, situated at the renovated Egyptian Theater is going to screen the movies meant to be shown at the 44th Cinecon Classic Film Festival & Exposition. The Grauman’s Egyptian is sited nearby the popular Hollywood Boulevard. The Cinecon Career Achievement Award also includes a special celebrity banquet on the Sunday evening.
