Wes Anderson was born in the Houston city of Texas. He completed his school days studying in Westchester High School and later changed to a private school named St John’s school. From his young days, he took great interest in directing stage performances and dramas. After completing his graduation in philosophy from University of Texas, he along with his friend Owen Wilson, directed a short film version of “Bottle Rocket”.
The release of this short film helped Wes Anderson and his friend to be noticed by producer James L. Brooks, who helped them with funds to launch the full-length version of ‘Bottle Racket’. This is considered to be the starting point of Wes Anderson’s career in film industry.
