Richard Linklater is one of the famous film directors in the world. This Academy Award-nominated American film director was born on July 30 in 1960. He is also a great screenwriter. Leaving his studies at Sam Houston State University, Richard Linklater went to work in an offshore oilrig in the Gulf of Mexico and while working he read a lot of literature.
