Marc Foster made his full fledged Hollywood movie with Everything Put Together. The movie was a psychological drama that earned him a nomination at the Sundance Film Festival for the Grand Jury Prize. But it was the movie, Monster's Ball that brought him into the limelight. The 2001 movie was a turning point in the career of Foster. Halle Berry won an Academy Award for her role in the movie.
Four years later, another movie of Marc Foster, Finding Neverland released. Finding Neverland is the movie based on author J. M. Barrie. The movie earned Foster nominations for best direction at the Golden Globe Awards and BAFTA. In total, the film got nominated to 5 categories at the Golden Globe Awards and for 7 categories at the Academy Awards.
