Errol Morris

Errol Morris is one of the very famous film makers of the USA. He was born on February 5, 1948 in Hewlett, New York. He lost his father at a very early age and his mother supported the family as a music teacher. After passing the 10th grade, Errol Morris enrolled himself as a student in the Putney School. He also learned music during a summer in France. Morris passed B.A. in history in the year 1969.

After becoming a graduate, Errol Morris became a frequenter of Pacific Film Archive. His first film called Gates of Heaven was first premiered in the year 1978. After the release of the film in the vernal season of 1981, Roger Ebert—a critic praised it. Even today the movie is liked by people at large. Errol’s movie has been included in the list of top 10 films. He produced his next film Newsweek in the year 1981,which was released in the New York Film Festival.

Vermon, FL is a film by Errol Morris, which is actually a collection of interviews. Errol Morris interviewed the citizens of Vermon when he was staying there in the year 1980. The film Vermon, FL depicts these series of interviews of different people.
