To make the world know more about Hollywood and to celebrate the contributions of the celebrities in Hollywood Industry, the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been established. The collection nominations are submitted to the Walk of Fame committee by May 31 of every year. They decide on those names which are to be added on the Famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. Maintained by the self-financing Hollywood Historic Trust, they accept $25,000 fee from those whose name will be embedded and allows the person to attend the ceremony every year.
